I live in Asheville, NC with my husband and our two daughters. Making art is something that I like to think about all the time and do whenever I can. Three-dimensional art or sculpture is kind of my favorite or anything that comes off of a two dimensional surface. Color and texture play a big part in my work when it comes to surface design. My process, when making art, usually begins with ideas or bits of thought that are abstracted into forms and colors. I like to create sculpture based on these forms. Sometimes they resemble animals or patterns that we recognize and other times they bring forth their own unique style. Some materials that I enjoy using are: wood, fabric, metal, papier mache, and paint. I am looking forward to making and seeing new possibilities in the near future.
